Bitter and Twisted

Written by
Becky Baxter / Conal O’Donoghue / Shauna McGarrity / John McNulty / Dan O’Donoghue

A song about relationship breakdown; a song about marital conflict; a song about the unintended harm we do to each other.

This is the most recent (late May 2016) addition to the development category so, yet again, no video or audio clips just yet. As you have found your way here anyway, why not check out some of other songs (which have video and/or audio clips available)? You might even be tempted to join our mailing list.

This is really a song about one of the worst aspects of human nature: the fact that most people cannot handle a relationship or marriage breakdown without resorting to bitchiness, bitterness, pettiness and hostility. It is often said that there is very little between love and hate (hell, we even based our song “Love Hate” on that very point) and it is a common failing of humanity that we all too often end up being most callous and vicious to those we felt most for … and, sadly, feeling justified in doing it: a song about relationship breakdown, a song about marital conflict and a song about the unintended harm we do to each other.
